Our Activities
At Nova Case Team, our main goal is to provide our members with an effective, engaging and diversified learning experience, in order to develop their professional and personal capabilities. Additionally, we aim to develop relationships with students, companies and professors from outside the club, to enrich Nova SBE's environment. With that in mind, we offer several core activities in which our members can participate:
Internal Case Solving
Our cases are on different topics and industries, divided into two types: (i) longer ones where internal teams of 3/4 members present their solution to each other and (ii) shorter cases, solved one-on-one, simulating a case interview. We solve cases weekly, to give enough opportunities for our members to improve.
External Case Solving
Often, we solve case studies together with other clubs from Nova or from different universities. This creates healthy competition and provides different perspectives which can benefit our members' learning.
Learning Sessions
We have learning sessions with companies and professors on case-solving skills: structured communication, problem-solving, quantitative skills, among others.
Case Competitions
Our members participate in several national and international case competitions, to put their skills to the test! Besides that, Nova Case Team organizes case competitions for students outside the club.
