Our Mission
At NCT our mission is clear: to effectively qualify Nova SBE students to face the current market challenges by the means of case solving.
We believe that by studying the real-life problems portrayed in business cases, our members can not only develop valuable both soft and hard skills but also familiarize themselves with the business environment. As such, we ensure they are prepared to perform in the business setting. In other to do so, we rely on:
1. Practical Focus
We offer hands-on-experiences to our members as a necessary complement to the more theoretical aspects taught at our university, while improving their communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking
2. Student-oriented Approach
We promote an inclusive and dynamic environment of which our members are central, while also interacting with the entire Nova student community
3. The Best Support
We rely on Nova SBE faculty to give advice and feedback about our members’ performance on a regular basis.
4. Competition as a vehicle for development
We believe that we can further explore the potential of our members by fostering a competitive setting by participating in case competitions, business games and other challenges
5. Partnerships as a complement
We establish partnerships with firms that support our club not only by sponsoring our events, but also by helping us to better understand the business environment
Our Vision
We believe that there is an emerging need to develop problem solving skills, which are undoubtedly sought in the job market. Thus, considering not only soft but also hard skills directly related to this area, we look forward to promoting a new area of interests in the university so that students can be capable of accepting higher challenges, while carrying Nova SBE both national and internationally.
As such, our vision is to help our members achieving their full potential and further developing their critical thinking to excel in their professional paths, bringing forward Nova Case Team both as a reputable and a reliable association of the future world leaders.
